We are all blessed in knowing each other and even though we are apart,
there remains a huge network of love and support from each of us to one
another out there across the country. Always know that no matter what,
you are loved, you are cared for by those of us who grew up together and
who have made it down the path of life so far in our lives.


Janis Lynn Adkins
October 18, 1955 – May 21, 2023
Janis Lynn Adkins, age 67, passed away on May 21, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on
October 18, 1955 in Pampa, Texas to Betty Copeland. Janis graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. She had a very successful career as an office manager for Neurology Associates in San Antonio, having worked for them for 25 years. She has two sons, Jeremiah and Jason, and eight grandchildren, who she adored and loved spending time with. She enjoyed being a part of their various sports activites. Janis was also an avid soccer fan and very active in the South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA).
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dwight and Arlene Treeby. Janis is survived by her mother Betty Copeland; her children Jeremiah Adkins and wife Heather, and Jason Adkins and wife Michele; grandchildren Justin, William, Colton, Autumn, Jax, Kaitlyn, Parker and Cooper; siblings Zelda Wilmouth, Rhonda Whitlow, and Vance Harper.
